I am a man who was raised in the Evangelical church to believe that Christianity was one thing and has since learned that it is something else. Through multiple church traditions, rationalism, and my own exegesis, I strive to delve into the mysteries of God, His world, and our place in it. Along the way, I have embraced heresies and people far from the church.
Short answers bother me. Learning with a discerning mind is important. I am confronted with new questions, information, and challenges every day. In a culture at war with itself in a conflict of ideas, the church needs discernment and we all need encouragement. These ideas have consequences. I hope to test existing ideas and occasionally suggest new ones to you, practical or just for thought.
My writing will reflect what I learn and how I grow as I go along. Life is a long process.
